Prepare an Etsy listing photo with a clear crop
Place the entire product inside the preview before exporting. Leave room around handles, packaging and tall edges because a marketplace can display the same photo in different crops. Try both square and landscape views, then choose the one that best describes what the buyer receives.
Pixel dimensions and transparent backgrounds
Etsy recommends listing photos at least 2000 pixels in both dimensions. Transparent PNGs are not supported as transparent listing photos. The export here is an opaque JPG below 1 MB; the displayed size check tells you when your original or crop is too small.

Can a smaller photo become a high-resolution listing?
Changing a quality slider or adding pixels cannot recover missing detail. FrameKit keeps smaller photos at their available resolution and shows the actual output dimensions. If a crop drops below the recommended size, use a larger original or take a new photo.
Keep product details accurate
